CFPA Europe Diploma in Fire Prevention

The CFPA (Confederation of Fire Protection Associations) Europe Diploma in Fire Prevention was developed to bridge the gap between completing a short fire risk assessment training course and an undergraduate degree. This prestigious qualification is recognised Europe-wide throughout the 19 member countries of the CFPA. The Diploma programme features 2 cycles.

Technical Cycle

Enhance your career as a fire risk assessor with this leading CFPA diploma in fire prevention, only available with the Fire Protection Association.

The Technical Cycle takes approximately 6-24 months to complete and learning outcomes comprise:

•	knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of fire prevention principles
•	a clear understanding of the importance of fire control, and the management of systems
•	able to recommend actions and influence change to improve fire safety strategies.

Certification: CFPA Europe Level 5 Diploma in Fire Prevention (Technical Cycle)

Management Cycle

Intended for experienced fire safety professionals, you will build on existing knowledge and experience to recommend and implement fire safety strategies policy across large or multi-site premises.

The Management Cycle must be completed within 6-12 months and learning outcomes comprise:

•	knowledge of broader management issues flowing from fire protection issues
•	an understanding of the principles of fire engineering design
•	an improved awareness of the testing and maintenance of fire protection and suppression equipment
•	a greater understanding of how to manage risk in complex premises
•	strategies to deal with fire and risk management and policy development
•	coping with emergencies and change management strategies.

Certification: CFPA Europe Level 6 Diploma in Fire Prevention (Fire Safety Manager)
