One of our #Infrastructure Services are field surveys to provide assurance of leak tightness for new pipelines during the #commissioning phase. We were delighted to support commissioning works for a major scheme led by Stantec on behalf of Thames Water. The new pipeline allowed for the cessation of an unsustainable abstraction, safeguarding the Letcombe Brook, a chalk stream of national significance that has been recognised by the Environment Agency and Thames Water. The new pipeline between Lark Hill Reservoir and Childrey Warren WTW is a 6.1km 450mm OD PE100 SDR17 gravity pipeline. Our teams surveyed the new installation using both acoustic and CCTV attached to our #Sahara system. You can read all about the end to end process from designing through to delivering the scheme in a case study written by Rob Hearne CEng MICE of Stantec here: https://lnkd.in/eyiEC7P
